Dr. Sheila D. Poole is a wife, mother, pastor, author and motivational speaker. She has a heart for the Word of God and relies solely on the word as it is the source of everything she needs in life. She has authored six books: He Redeemed My Time; So, You Want to Get Married? Let’s Talk!; Words of Encouragement; Lamplight Devotional, Treat Him Like A King; and Encourage Yourself. They have been a tremendous blessing to the body of Christ as she candidly shares from her life experiences to help strengthen and encourage believers. She co-authored DayLight Devotional with her husband Dr. Robert J. Poole, Jr. They are the founding pastors of Destiny Christian Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, where God has commissioned them to “Illuminate the pathway to purpose through the teaching of God’s Word.”

 

In July of 2002, the Lord graced them to meet their Bishop, Apostle Nathaniel Holcomb of Christian House of Prayer in Copperas Cove, Texas. From that meeting a covenant connection was made and as of October 26, 2003, Pastors Robert and Sheila Poole were officially ordained by Apostle Holcomb becoming a part of the Covenant Connections International family. In June 2007 she and her husband were a part of the first graduating class of Sonship School of the Firstborn at the Christian House of Prayer in Killeen, Texas. They also received their Doctorate in Ministry and Pastoral Care from the Minnesota School of Theology in June of 2011. IT’S ALL ABOUT HIM!

 

They have been married for 27 years and through their tender love for one another, God has anointed them to minister very candidly to marriages. Over the past 10 years, they have ministered at several marriage conferences encouraging couples to simply obey the word. The Lord has truly blessed their relationship, and Pastor Rob very powerfully fulfills Ephesians 5:25 loving his wife as Christ loves the church and daily gives his life for her. Pastor Sheila in turn makes it her business to defer, honor, praise, regard, esteem, love and admire him exceedingly. Through their union, God has blessed them with two beautiful, born-again children Joshua, and Shekinah.
